Web design is a pretty amazing medium in that the tool used to create is the same as its final medium. The site was a temporary one only up during the fall of 2000 to promote their limited edition line of Red Boot apparel.
This was a variabe width layout that expanded to fit whatever size browser window it was displayed in with a minimum width of 600 pixels. The background pattern was a deep red with a distressed xerographic pattern and many of the button images had transparent areas that let this pattern show through, giving the site a layered, floating look.
