Ruby on Rails can be kind of a bear to set up, so as I figure stuff out, I've been documenting my discoveries here to help others along the path.
View the source, I streamlined a bunch of <div>s and made the the content column resizable instead of the right column. I'm still tidying up the stylesheet right now, but the HTML is done.
Combing through my server logs, I saw that it logged search engine query matches. The most popular is when people search for "Mike Wolstat" or "PHP Developer" but some of the real random ones i thought were pretty entertaining. I put them up here.
In an effort to generate some new content, I made a list of some of my current favorite albums with little rock-critic blurbs to help explain. I swear i'm not into Lo-Fi as a genre unto itself. Also included is a list of some old faves, too. Go to it.
Pixels are rad. I could spend all of my days pushing the pixels around if it weren't for the splitting headaches that occur from staring at the cathode ray tube for hours at a time. Maybe I should take a trip to the Fertile Crescent rather than just looking at pictures in a book. I guess it's taboo to represent living creatures in their culture, so they really trip out on calligraphy and geometric shapes and stuff. Check it out.
